Ganesha standing within a pierced arch, cast in brass by the lost-wax method: a wax model is shaped by hand, encased in clay, fired so the wax runs out, and then filled with molten brass.
That process is why the arch keeps its open scrollwork and sharp flame points while the figure stays solid and heavy in the hand. The finish is left warm and slightly uneven, the way hand-cast brass should be.
Stand it on a shelf, an altar or a desk. Brass darkens naturally over time — polish it if you like the shine, or leave it to patina.
